I am a singer/songwriter now living in Eugene. This song is one from my soon to be completed album 'Spirited Man'.
My songs cover many genres from politically charged rock statements to heartfelt blues of personal experience and new age spirited messages.

My musical career started at age 5 with my first live performance. Standing on the pool table of a small bar in a rural Montana town singing Elvis's rendition of 'Hound Dog' complete with gyrating hips followed with 'Hang Down Your Head Tom Dooley'. The dozen or so patrons clapped, cheered and showered the pool table with quarters; I was hooked! Here it is 55 years later and I am releasing my first original songs. Its been a great ride!

I am blessed to have the help of some of Eugene's finest musicians on this song. Issa Koberstein; lead and rhythm guitars. Danny Sternadel; piano, organ and sound engineering. 'Bobby back beat' on drums. Myself; vocals· and bass.

Billy Barnett, the mix wizard and Don Ross the master of sound. These guys took this song way past my expectations. Heartfelt thanks to all.

Music is indeed the universal language of the souL And all of the entries here show just a small example of the diversity of the messages. Good luck to all of the musicians who have an entry in this contest and to all the musicians of the world that are spreading their own messages in song.
